For how long is the journal good for?

The journal covers 22 topics. Each topic can realistically, be read and answered in one day. Our recommendation however is to allot about 2-3 weeks per topic to allow for the lesson to sink in and be practiced at home. At that rate, the journal is good for about one year.

Can kids work on this on their own?

7-9 year olds will likely need an adult to explain some concepts, while 10-12 year olds should be self-sufficent. Regardless, having a buddy (parent, older sibling, or other adult) is highly recommended to spark further conversation and address any questions that may arise.

I bought this as a Christmas gift to my daughter. She loves it! She's into journals just like I do. We get to do the things we love doing plus more activities and we learn a lot too! This is a great help for parents to instill great values to their children! Highly recommended!

Great journal for various ages

The journal was really a good tool for my kids to learn how to appreciate the value of things. My eldest (10 yo) learned to do chores if he wants to buy something because he knows we have so many things to pay for like bills & food etc.

The journal also became a tool for my daughter (8 yo) and youngest son (5 yo) to bond. They would accomplish 1-2 pages per day & she would make sure that her younger brother followed the instructions to the letter. hahaha It became a practice workbook for the 5 yo. He would draw, color & write on it so his fine motor skills improved.

A little gem

This journal has been fabulous for my 7 year old! A great addition to our homeschooling curriculum, packed with positive messages and thought provoking prompts! Since my child required a bit of assistance I found that this journal can spark many beneficial conversations too!
